Insights Into Waste Survey

Local Government NSW has partnered with the NSW Environment Protection Authority in seeking insights from councils on the waste management and resource recovery tasks ahead, and how councils can be best supported.

Local government has played an important role in waste and resource recovery activities across NSW and will continue to have a critical role supporting NSW’s transition to a circular economy. The ongoing operation of the Regional Coordination Model is important to the effective delivery of waste and circular economy priorities across NSW regions.

This survey is an opportunity to build on the success of this model and explore what more we can do now to support the delivery of the NSW Waste and Sustainable Materials Strategy. 

Councils have been sent direct invitations to participate in the ‘Insights into Waste’ survey (invites issued to General Managers and Waste council staff). If you would like to provide your feedback, use the survey link below.
