IPART Review of Domestic Waste Management Charges

A reminder that submissions to IPART’s review of Domestic Waste Management Charges close on 29 April 2022.

IPART’s proposed approach could result in substantial changes to the way that councils determine their waste charges, so it’s important that councils carefully consider what is proposed and respond relevant to their own situation.

LGNSW has developed a position paper which outlines the key issues for local government as we see them. Councils are welcome to use the content in their own submissions as they see fit.
